LTI employs a team of highly skilled technical personnel who support the demanding needs of our customers.

We are driven by exacting methodology, integrity,

LTI employs five engineers and a machinist at our KY facility as well as additional engineers off-site. Three of the four in KY are mechanical engineers with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and design, while one is an electrical engineer specializing in circuit design and analysis. We also have a full machine shop with a machinist/tool and die maker with 45+ years of experience. Our off-site office supports four electronics and computer engineers.

Clay Miller / Chairman of the Board

Clay has devoted his entire career to the security industry. He spent many hours as a child working with his father, Harry C. Miller, then chairman of Sargent & Greenleaf. Clay's keen insight into security technologies grew through his years at S&G where he eventually became president in 1976. Following the sale of the company, Clay purchased Lockmasters, a correspondence school his father founded in 1955 along with Leonard Singer and Jim Taylor. Clay has conceived of and developed a number of security devices, including the X-0 series of locks currently used by the US Government to secure our nation’s most sensitive material. In addition to holding 40+ patents, he's also co-founder of LockNet, the Safe and Vault Technicians Association and the Primate Rescue Center


Wes Day / President

Wes has a broad range of experience spanning 35+ years in the security industry. His experience includes 17 years at Lockmasters developing products, writing articles, teaching classes, and growing the business. While at Lockmasters, he held positions as Director of Education, Vice-President of Operations as well as publisher of SAVTA’s magazine Safe & Vault Techology. He later joined LOCKNET as Vice-President of Operations. Wes is the Director of QTACTICAL.COM, and as such is always interested in new products and better ways to support the customer. He and all the staff at LTI and Qtactical are committed to finding tools to meet our customer needs.


Lisa Young / CFO

Lisa oversees the financial and administration areas at LTI. Lisa has worked within the lock industry and previously was the CFO for Lockmasters and Lockmasters Security Institute. She has also held a number of financial leadership positions with other companies in the Central Kentucky region. She is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
